Real Estate is in my blood … A native Alabamian, Pratt’s family history in real estate dates back to 1836, when his Great, Great Uncle Daniel Pratt leased land along a creek in Autauga County where he began manufacturing cotton gins and became the largest producer of cotton gins in the world and Alabama’s first major industry. He then moved further up the creek, bought 1,822 acres, and built a permanent cotton gin factory in 1838 and founded the new town of Prattville for the workers in his venture. In 1979, my Father, Merrill began his real estate career and since then we have bought, sold, invested and developed properties into residential homes, multi-family properties, shopping centers, office, commercial, industrial, storage buildings and distribution centers with a deep commitment to our community. MPT has created a remarkable award winning (2022 Nappie for “Best Commercial Real Estate Firm”) team of brokers, agents and staff dedicated to assisting our clients achieve their real estate and business goals.

He holds the coveted Certified Commercial Investment Member, CCIM, designation and serves as the Sponsorship Committee Chair. He currently serves as Chairman of Governmental Affairs Committee, holds a position on the ARPAC Committee, Nominating Committee, Allocation Committee, and sits on the Board of Directors for the 1,400 member Mobile Area Association of Realtors. He serves as President of the Mobile Commercial Real Estate Exchange Club and is a graduate of the 2011 Leadership Class of the Alabama Association of Realtors.
